Should I do it?

I need so much needed advice! I am on my holiday break and was going over my schedule for the spring semester. I am taking A&P 2, personal and community health, nutrition but I want to take a humanities course. Would adding a history or literature course be too much for me to handle?

Also something else has been worrying me. I will be applying to nursing school in March (or February, can't remember)! I had to retake A&P. The first time I took it was at my university and got a D! I transferred to a community college and retook it and got a B in lecture and A in lab! Will the fact that I retook a prereq affect my chances?

    No, it should replace the old grade.

    It should not hurt your chances. I retook it too and that new grade is what is shown on my GPA. Also, the humanities class shouldnt be too bad but it depends on what type of student you are.

    Why did you get a D in A&P 1?

    That will dictate, if you can take 3 classes.

    If you could I would keep the 2, and Rick those classes.

    Whenever taking classes like your A&P, I always say its better to make 1 A then 3 or 4 C's, if you don't have anything else going on, then it's most definitely doable. However, remember you don't want to waste your time having to retake a class. Hope this helped

    Adding another class depends entirely on what kind of student you are. You just have to look at things like your past schedules and how well you did, what responsibilities you have right now, how much time you'll actually be able to study, and things like that.

    Check with the nursing program you are applying to on retaking prereqs. Some don't grade replace but consider all grades. It just depends on the program.

    And hey, be confident! You can do this!

    It depends on the school you are applying to. I know the nursing schools I am applying to, calculate the original grade as well as the repeat. Check with the school. Of course, you will be fine!
