I work 12 hr. shifts and I definately, hands-down recommend Dansko clogs. They're pricey, about $100 minimum, but they'll last much longer than ordinary shoes. I just looked up their website, it's http://www.dansko.com where you can look at the shoes and get locations and online retailers. They've got all kinds of colors from basic white to blue, red, pink, whatever. Hope this helps!:)

thanks so much, you answered my question before i could ask. i wear birkenstocks all the time.......summer, fall winter and spring :)
but i recently bought a pair of dansko clogs and love them. i had thought, once i start clinicals, that i would get a white pair of dansko's. so thanks for the post :)
I fyou like a pair of lace ups - then go for a pair of Doc martens - not cheap i know, but my last pair did me for 3 1/2 years workign full time. Otherwise another good choice is a pair of slip on colorados - damn comfy and look good with pants, shorts or skirts, where as the docs really only look right with pants :)
I love Skechers. They are so light weight and have such a wonderful arch support in them that I could wear them every day. I used to rotate until I bought these. And http://www.shoebuy.com has a deal and I got them for $38-no shipping. How great is that?
I like Calzuro clogs. On my feet all day and they still feel great. If you are looking for a place to buy clogs, try http://www.scrubsandclogs.com
