I applied for the Fall 2016 nursing program and am currently waiting to get my letter in the mail. I'm applying with 185 points total. Any comments or advice? Anyone else applying?

Good luck guys! Shelton is an incredible program, and the instructors set you up to learn SO much! Go ahead and make time to get your TB tests, titers drawn, a physical, and CPR certified because orientation is coming up fast! First semester has a lot more expenses than the other semesters (besides 5th), but they're all important!

How recent does the physical has to be ?

I'm not too sure. I know they gave us a sheet in the orientation packet that had a specific area for a healthcare provider to sign. I had one from a few months prior but when I went in for my titers and my TB tests my doctor just went ahead and signed off on the physical paper provided from Shelton.

Okay because Im getting one In a couple weeks hopefully I can just go back in and let him sign it. Mail today but NO letter. Patience though.

Got my letter today! I haven't read past the first word: "Congratulations!'

I really didn't think I'd make it. Check your mail & Good luck everybody!

By the way, I'm in the first half of the alphabet, too.

I was probably mailed at the same time as the E... I live out of town and our post office is open only half days, so it might have taken the extra day to arrive.
