Sharp New Grad Program Summer 2013

So like our predecessors I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all the new applicants for Sharp's summer 2013 new grad program. I just applied today and can't believe how nervous I am since I hit that submit button!! Good luck to all!!

Just wondering for those who have been called or scheduled for interviews, do you guys have BSN or ADN?

I will be graduating in May with a BSN.

What's your gpa and where did you precept? For those who have interviews.

3.8 GPA and currently precepting in an ICU in Las Vegas.

It appears as if they're still making calls (for Sharp Mary Birch at least). I got a call yesterday and I applied for Women's Acute Care. Hang in there, guys

Do you think they will notify others who didn't make the cut via email?

I'm not quite sure about that. I know on the website, their FAQ for the new grad program states that due to the high volume of applications, they cant respond to inquiries about individual statuses. You can always try e-mailing or calling them if it's been awhile. The website says they interview all the way to June though.

They send out an email like this to let you know the position is closed, "We appreciated the opportunity to review your information and regret that you were not selected for the winter 2012/2013 programs."

Hi everyone I am new to the group. I applied for these two units:

Sharp memorial hospital, residency rotation adult health; med/surg/progressive care unit rotations (

july 11, 2013 full time 12 hr night shift (license by june 21, preceptorship expereience in an acute care setting preferred)

Sharp Coronado Hospital unit-based Medical Surgical . July 18,2013, full time 12 hr night shift

If anyone else has applied for these or have received a phone call for interviews about either of these please post something!!! I graduated from Loyola University Chicago in December and passed NCLEX in February. I hope I get a call and good luck to everyone!
