I applied too, I applied to Sharp Memorial Hospital's residency rotation and Sharp Coronado! Good luck everyone!

I applied for the second time. The "preceptorship preferred" thing is new.

I interviewed last time but didn't make the cut. Hopefully this time will be different!!

I also applied. I chose Memorial Med Surg Residency starting in July and Psych at Memorial starting in September. Good luck...wish these positions would start opening up for more new grads!

Expharmagirl, what departments did you apply to, this time and last time?

I applied to Tele at Grossmont and Med Surg residency at Memorial last time. Last time I got an interview with Tele.

This time I applied to The PCU residencies at Chula and Grossmont.

Just an FYI, they take about 2 months to start calling people.

I noticed some of the positions are part-time...but I guess better than nothing?

Blueorchid, yes definitely. One of the residencies I applied to is part time. It's definitely better than nothing. You could probably pick up hours when the census is up.

No, they did not. Frustrating. It was a 50/50 chance since they interviewed twice as many people as they had spots.
