  1. I can't get a response from HR to see if Grossmont psych has already hired. Anyone else apply to psych? Just thought I would get an email or something letting me know by now..
  2. mine was about 15 min. questions like, why do you want to work for Swedish, why do you want to work in your unit of choice, this is a competitive program why should we hire you. I think it went ok. hopefully I get a call for an interview next week [fingers crossed] Good luck to everyone:up:
  3. I did an ABSN program too and it was brutal, but I love a challenge. They say it's like trying to drink from a fire hose. The syllabus was almost a joke, no one was able to get through all the reading we were assigned, especially in Summer semesters when we had 14 units. So don't freak out! Just do what you can and know that you probably won't have much of a social life. Good luck!
  4. Does anyone know exactly how the residency works? You rotate to different units for 12 weeks? I have a phone interview on Wed. and I'd love to know any extra info you might have about their residency.
  5. Sorry I don't know how much for your experience level, but new grads start at $29/hour with Southwest Healthcare. I think Loma Linda pays about the same. Hope that helps some.
  6. This is what my email looks like (I did the talentmine last Nov): "Thank you for your interest in career opportunities with Scripps Health! We have received your resume and are currently reviewing your credentials. Should we determine that your background and experience meets our hiring needs, we will contact you with further instructions. If you are not selected for current employment opportunities, we will keep your resume on file for future consideration. Again, we sincerely appreciate your interest in employment with Scripps Health"
  7. so weird, I applied to the residency and then went back to apply for the la jolla one and it keeps taking me in circles. I've filled in the supplemental questions 3 times now lol. anyone else going in circles?
  8. I'm guessing no one has heard anything... my status is the same on their website
  9. They send out an email like this to let you know the position is closed, "We appreciated the opportunity to review your information and regret that you were not selected for the winter 2012/2013 programs."
  10. they're also sending emails, my friend just got one about the test
  11. has anyone heard back that applied for psych?
  12. lolol, I heard 125 people asked to do the essay...
  13. wow 500 were there. I knew it was a lot haha. my friends that work there all had to take a computer based test that asked clinical and behavior questions, so I'm guessing that's the next step.
  14. nothing here... my friend applied also and hasn't heard yet. arg?
  15. So I have a question- I'm guessing the letter looks better if it's signed, but I have a couple that aren't because the writer emailed it to me. Does that look bad? They still have the writer's phone number and email so they can be contacted..
