Ya, I was thinking the same thing...they say they will email you when all your documents have been received... i think I will probably email everything..

Would it be a bad idea to email my cover letter and supplemental information form, and fax my recommendation letters and transcript? :| I don't have access to a scanner for my recommendation letters and transcript...

Btw, just curious... To which campuses and units will you be applying? I'm thinking of applying to Sharp Coronado and Chula Vista (since they're the closest campuses to my house, and they're both offering Med-Surg programs which is what I'm interested in).

Will you be making separate cover letters for each unit/campus that you will be applying to? Or will you just make one? I don't know whether to make a general cover letter for both campuses I'll be applying to or making two cover letters, with each one specific to the facility. Hmm...

Hi guys, I just want to ask if anyone of you have received any confirmation after copleting all the documents needed for ew Grad portfolio. I have been sending them emails inquiring but i dont get any answer so im just wndering if all of my documents went through or not. Hope to hear from u soon. Thanx

I had this same dilemma.. I think I will fax everything, all at once. Im making a cover letter for both choices but my references are pretty general. I have one that will be addressed to my first choice, just because that reference is from the specialty I desire. I am applying to Chula Vista... is the furthest from my house but the positions I most want.

after i faxed my portfolio in, i heard back two days later that they had received everything and that processing could take up to 3 weeks. i did send an email the day after i faxed to confirm that they'd received everything, but i think the reply was an automated thing (i.e. not a personal response to my email)

you haven't received a confirmation email yet?

Are faxing and emailing the only options we have? I was thinking to mail the portfolio to their office? Does anybody know if that's appropriate? thanks

No. I havent heard anything from them yet and I am getting anxious, i just hope its not lost or anything i faxed everything aside from the supplemental form coz i sent that thru email. Thanks for replying i think I will just send them an email again,thanks!

I know someone who got a phone call back for an interview. Anyone else get one? If I don't get one I am going to be crushed....again. I am not sure how much of this I can take.

Hi Ilovenursing2009,

I anticipate applying for Sharp's 2010 New Grad program. Any news/information on that person who got a call back? Did she actually know someone who worked at Sharp or did she just submit her application online like everyone else? I'm slowly starting to feel overwhelmed as I read about everyone past new grad application experiences,,,
