My personal favorite is the segment of our population (!) who believe that COVID is being spread via the 5G cellular network. As a current healthcare professional and former IT professional, I found this intellectually disturbing.
Despite having multiple deaths in our city of 60,000+ people. We have meant that still are saying “ it’s not real, it’s just the government conspiracy”! Crazy!
There are so many. How do I pick just one? I would say the craziest is how president trump talked about heart and disinfectants possibly curing covid-19. It's funny in a scary way. You know the reason we have to have instructions on everything we buy is because there are so many people in the world that believe things suck as that!
My very angry patient ripping her non rebreather mask off and yelling "I don't know why you guys are saying I cant breathe! I didn't have COVID 19 until I came here." As she is sitting in the 70s and getting increasingly short of breath.
Every day multiple people calling the Emergency Room asking " Is the hospital open?" and "Am I allowed to come to the Emergency Room if I don't have Coronavirus?" Yes the hospital is open and yes you can come to the ER, Please call 911 if you are having chest pain!
