Is anyone applying for spring?
Let's check in here to keep track of the admissions process.
My stats:
GPA 4.0
TEAS 97.3
Healthcare experience: 10 years as an in-home caregiver
No multicultural experience or other languages. That's definitely my biggest weakness.
If they time this out like previous cycles, interview invitations should go out in mid-October and program decisions in late November.
Good luck, everyone!
@harleyhanks: At this point since there were 100 interviews given out of the entire application pool. I think your grades and test scores are at the point where admissions feel you have an excellent chance of passing the program. I'm thinking anything above a 3.8 GPA and 80 TEAS score makes you pretty competitive to get a chance for an interview.
At this point, it's your personality, extracurriculars, and your performance on the interview that will carry you through.

I've read through this thread and appreciated all the advice.
I'm applying to the SFSU BSN program for Fall '20 and was wondering about the stats people had that got admissions into the program.
My cumulative GPA was extremely low and my nursing core GPA was a lot lower than what others have been saying on this thread. My TEAS score was in the low 90s and I had 200 volunteer hours. Don’t feel discouraged by your stats! No harm in applying and seeing what happens! Others I met had stats across the board so there’s really no way to try to guess what they’re looking for. Good luck!
Hi! I'm applying for Summer 2020 ABSN program. Waiting to hear back about interviews...have you heard anything?
Does anybody know how much the SFSU ELMSN program is with all the tuition and fees? I know it is a 95 unit program, but I do not know how much the nursing program charges in tuition per unit or how much all the other testing/school fees are. Does anyone here have that number or know who could point me in the right direction? It would be really helpful.
According to the SFSU ELM-A website, "The cost is $700.00 per unit for the 97 unit program. Students register and pay for classes via the College of Extended Learning. "
