Congratulations! That's an amazing accomplishment....for future readers....what were your scores on practice questions in your first pass through with how many questions used, etc?

Thanks! I'm very happy to be done. I'm not sure why my post made you worried....your scores are better than mine and I passed. If you want my advice, just keep reviewing rationales from UWorld and leik, and take Wednesday off. good luck!

I just want to let any future test takers/readers know that I passed! I used lieks exams as practice exams and got a 63% average (I had not reviewed the book, so those questions were new to me) and I used UWorld to review content. I had about 150 not attempted UWorld questions left before I took the exam and 130 incorrect UWorld questions. I think I had about 30 incorrect to correct UWorld questions otherwise, so my overall UWorld score was about 69%.

Thanks for responding. I definitely find reviewing the rationales helpful. I'd heard that leik's exam questions are the same as the ones in the book, so I've been using UWorld to study and doing Leik's exams as practice for the real exam, I hadn't gone through their qbanks before their exam. I've purchased Fitzgerald as well, so I'll go through that after exhausting more of leiks tips.

Does anybody know how much the SFSU ELMSN program is with all the tuition and fees? I know it is a 95 unit program, but I do not know how much the nursing program charges in tuition per unit or how much all the other testing/school fees are. Does anyone here have that number or know who could point me in the right direction? It would be really helpful.

Yes I get about 35k per semester in total loans (I had no income for the years prior). They gave me $3700 in emergency funding which probably came from CARES Act funding. The scholarship deadline is tomorrow so fingers crossed I get some money from that as well.

@hopelessromantic Possibly, I’m not sure. My ultimate goal is to become a PMHNP so I’ll go to UCSF if given the opportunity, assuming student loans works out.

What does it mean to have not heard anything from UCSF so far? Some people received interviews and others have received rejections, but I haven’t heard either way, and I’m wondering if that means to wait until Thursday, or if I most likely got rejected.

I had two in progress courses. Patho physiology and microbiology.

I think all we can do is wait until December, and then make our decisions then, what do you think?

I wonder if I can do that if I have no yet received an email from smu notifying me of admission to the fnp program. I got one notifying me of admission to the absn program and giving me info on how to sign on to all the websites. Through that, I was able to accept/decline. But can I go through with it before I get the email? The uncertainty is unbearable.

What made you think you got in but later see that you were waitlisted? For waitlisted applicants, does the admitted students portal say “you have been admitted” or does it say Somewhere that you have been waitlisted? I haven’t gotten the email yet wrt the elmsn so I’m just unsure if I got in. But I know I got into the absn.
