I have no idea if they started calling waitlist students or not but from an earlier post saying that the deadline for accepted students to accept/decline was the 15th, I would like to think they would start calling soon...

No email yet for waitlisted (to my knowledge), I'm early on the list so I'll let you guys know the moment I receive one.

Has anyone else been called from the waitlist? The wait is killing me @-@

I think they're going to start calling people in June, based on this quote from the email that told me I was waitlisted:

"4) How long is your waitlist maintained?

The regular BSN wait list will be open from June 2015 until December 2015, if necessary. You will be contacted if a space becomes available for you."

I just talked to someone from the School of Nursing and they said that they'll be notifying students on the waitlist this week!!!

Hi guys just to clarify because I was looking through past threads about a supposed changed to preceptorship. I called SON today and they said they still do preceptorship and even if they combined their classes it is still the same basically because it is approved by the BRN.

So I called this morning and was told that they have started pulling off the waitlist, at least for the ELMSN program. They haven't pulled off anyone from my particular specialty, but they have for others. Pretty discouraging for me; I feel like that means my chances are slim to none....

Hey Pkham,

Where did you get the orientation invitation? I was accepted in April and I have called SFSU a few times about orientation date and they were unsure. Did I miss something? lol

Lol no no no, I was trying to find out how I can sign up for transfer orientation because they told me that was the next step. I'm still on the waitlist and it never occurred to me that I might need to wait until I was accepted into the nursing major because right now I've only received my acceptance into my alternative major. As an update, I still haven't received word on the waitlist or my orientation.

I just found out I got IN! I can't believe it, especially when I had lost all hope! Can't wait to meet the rest of you in the ELMSN program! And for those of you still waiting, never give up! I applied for 3 years before I got in so keep trying =)
