SFSU Fall 2015
Hi guys just to clarify because I was looking through past threads about a supposed changed to preceptorship. I called SON today and they said they still do preceptorship and even if they combined their classes it is still the same basically because it is approved by the BRN.

Whoever is on the waitlist you might get called soon! I emailed SON today that I will not be attending CSULA anymore because I got into other nursing schools very close to my home. Congrats to you and all and the best of luck at CSULA.

Fall 2015 CSUEB
Hello! I have also been admitted but I am torn between CSU East Bay and SFSU. I have been a student at SFSU for around four years, but I live a 15 minute drive away from Hayward. My current nursing school friends recommended East Bay because distance plays a key, but I just spoke to SFSU about their clinical/preceptorship sites and they sound pretty awesome too. Any advice? CSUEB is three years right and SFSU is two

Hi. I believe CSUs require you to take critical thinking and an English course as a transfer requirement. Area A — English Language Communication and Critical Thinking The two English courses are first year composition and second year composition. For nursing school it is really the second year composition that they need, but first year composition is a prereq for second year comp so that is why they are both listed. You have to take those English courses as well as a Critical Thinking course. Good luck!
