SFSU BSN Spring 2023

Hi there! I applied for the SF State BSN Spring 2023 program and I couldn't find a forum so I thought I'd get it started here. 

Does anyone know when decisions are released or if there will be interviews this round? I've heard varying reports on whether or not those were happening.

They responded to my email, they said that admission decisions will be released at the end of November to the beginning of December ?

Daaang! Acceptances are probably being given later than last year because they’re now reviewing written personal statements… they didn’t do that before.

I am waiting to see if I get into sf state before I fully commit to another program and the deadline is end of November to decide ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ Dag nabbit

Hi, I need some advice! I’ve got into Stan State, and the due date to accept their admission is today by 4 PM. My first choice is definitely SFSU, and I am waiting for their decision. Do you know that all the nursing schools are linked together? If we accept admission from a university, can others be aware of it, and then they refuse to review our applications?

My other question is, if I accept Stan State admission, and then hopefully get into SFSU, can I withdraw from Stan State?

By any chance do you know what was the minimum TEAS score that got accepted last Spring semester at SFSU?

I do not believe the programs are linked in anyway, that would involve some kind of system that is far too streamlined and efficient haha. I have accepted admission somewhere else and am waiting to hear from SFSU as well... I even told SFSU that, asking if they had info on when we would get word before I accept FAFSA loans etc. (FYI they were unhelpful, just said they will let us know late November to early dec). I feel like you have to be proactive like this otherwise we may not be able to go anywhere!! I mean SFSU has such a cut throat admissions rate I am really not expecting admission.. My prereq. GPA is 4.0, TEAS is 88%, and 8 yrs experience as a veterinary technician soooooo major toss up for me I would say.

I apologize for delay I was out of service all weekend

Thank you for your response. I declined my admission from Stan State. I hope to get admission to SFSU. My GPA and TEAS score is the same as yours, but I don’t have any job experience, and because of that I have a lot of stress. We should pray and wait for their decision. Finger crossed ?
