I received an email today stating Im waitlisted for the BSN program. Curious as to how many people they waitlist and how many they typically accept from the waitlist? my status still says pending on the sf application website.

I just got an acceptance email from SFSU regular BSN program! i'm so excited! the letter stated that i wouldn't begin the actual program until spring 2012 and to remain eligible i need to attend SFSU in the fall under my alternate major. i just checked my admissions status for SFSU and it still said applicant, so hopefully they update that soon! good luck to everyone!

I got an email saying im on the waitlist but my sister got accepted for spring 2012, I am also curious to know how many people there are on the wait list and what number I am on it!

Last year, there were about 25 waitlist spots, from what I've read which is definitely better than 100+! And in the past years, they've accepted about 5-22 people from the waitlist, so it totally depends on the pool each year. Also, I don't think the school of nursing will tell us our numbers, as last year's waitlisters weren't told theirs.

Here were my stats if any of you want to know. 3.8 prereq GPA, 3.8 total GPA, 79.3% TEAS -Advanced standing, 4 letters of recommendations, a CPR certification, and I speak 4 languages. SFSU was my first choice, but now I don't know if I want to be a nurse anymore. Good luck with everyone else and congrats to those who got in!

I just got an email and I am accepted for Spring 2012. Do any of you know how the school of nursing decide who will start in Fall or Spring? I have a class still pending (quarter system , I just finished the class last week) Could it be it?

It seems so many people were placed into wait list...I was on the wait list too , waiting again... I want to know: when is the deadline for the accepted applicants to reply the offer?

I got my email yesterday and was accepted for Spring 2012 also an I need to respond by April 15!

I've noticed that most are either waitlisted or accepted for spring 2012 but not fall 2011 so far... I guess we'll just have to see.

SFSU is different this year since they did add the TEAS V for the first time.

How many people did get waitlisted? I'm curious to see what and when the results for the waitlists are. I really want to go to SFSU like you olive1224!

where are you guys accessing your admission decision emails from sfsu? did you guys receive an email from sfsu through your sfsu email account or did you receive email from sfsu through your external email account that was stated on your application? i have not received any email at the email address given in my application. i tried to check my sfsu email account, but have been unable to access it through the following weblink https://inside.sfsu.edu/portal/emailinfo. thanks!
