  1. Hey! For your Stanford app did you submit a cover letter??? I'm applying and it doesn't have a link too but most recruiters say don't submit a resume without a cover letter.....any advice would be helpful thx!
  2. hi irockurban! congrats on your acceptance! I am taking all 3 segment III as well. i'm taking the human sexuality cluster, so i'm enrolled in SXS400, BIO 330 and HUM 375.i could understand why some were going against taking all 3 GE's at once as i currently have 20 pgs due at the same time for two of my classes. At least when we are in the program we won't have to worry about anything else :)
  3. does anybody know if we have to be part time or full time in Fall 2011 in order to be eligible for the nursing program in 2012???? ive met with a counselor and i really have nothing to take except my Segment III and he was really against taking all three at the same time....
  4. hi guys! just wondering if any of you guys have decided on a segment 3 cluster yet? i've looked online at the ones i'm really interested in, but when i checked the class selection online a lot of the classes weren't available. i really want to choose a cluster where i can finish all 9 units in one semester...

Does SFSU send out all their admission decisions via email????? i got my acceptance to the nursing program letter through email. I finally found out i was admitted to the university because i checked my SF gate account. And i did my intent to register and orientation registration through the online website. i have gotten nothing in the mail from them. Just seems kind of weird that everything is done online or through email.

hi newRN1875! I know im like a year late with this. I recently got into SFSU BSN program for spring 2012. i am a current student at local community college. I have no real experience in a real 4 year university, but all i hear about SF state is that its really hard to get classes in order to graduate....Just wondering since you've done the program, once i am in the program i am guaranteed the classes i need to graduate right? i know i'll need classes to satisfy the university GE requirements and i assume i'll be subject to being on a wait list for those. any advice will help. thanks!
  7. I just got an acceptance email from SFSU regular BSN program! i'm so excited! the letter stated that i wouldn't begin the actual program until spring 2012 and to remain eligible i need to attend SFSU in the fall under my alternate major. i just checked my admissions status for SFSU and it still said applicant, so hopefully they update that soon! good luck to everyone!
  8. hi! are you guys already current students at SFSU? i am a CCSF student applying for the fall 2011 semester. i know that the nursing dept. said they wouldn't give out notices till april, but i'm wondering about the actual university itself. i've applied to several other CSU nursing programs and i've already gotten my acceptance letter from the university, but not the nursing dept. i'm getting a bit nervous because i know the intent to register is May 1st. which is coming up really fast.
