Hi all,
I did not see a thread about Seton hall's accelerated nursing program starting in the fall 2015 so I decided to create one. I recently had an interview with Seton hall for the accelerated nursing program and I'm very eager to hear back from them with their decision because I am very interested in the program. Is there anyone else in this position? Also, is there anyone who was in this program and can tell me about their experience with the program. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Hey everyone!!Did anyone receive the financial aid letter detailing the exact tuition cost and what is included? or does anyone know that information by talking to the directors or the school?
I was told between 60-70 grand depending on the year, the material cost, the lab space cost, ect.
What I know about the program is that it is INTENSE (15 months to RN!) and they don't have a good NCLEX pass rate which means you'll need to do the work make sure you are preparing for NCLEX style questions through out your nursing school journey even! But the good news is there's a low student:teacher ratio. Good luck!
So much info on PirateNet. It looks like we'll be able to create a group for our class on there. That may allow more privacy than FB for discussing school issues and communicating. I'm hoping we'll learn more about the possibilities for group interaction at orientation.
Just finished my PPDs, drug test later this week, CPR done, and the rest all in progress. I think I'll just use the recommended company for malpractice insurance since the prices seem reasonable. Will you all do the same?
Looking forward to meeting you all in about four weeks!

For those of you looking for housing, might be good to avoid theses apartments.

Hi and congrats! I am from North Jersey as well. Like way north...up close the PA border. I will not be commuting I made the drive for my interview and there is no way I could effectively do it and then also be able to keep up with my work at the same time. I will be living with my grandparents about 10 minutes from Lakewood. Trying it out and if it doesn't work I then too will have to look for an apartment.
