Everybody keep an eye on your emails. I got waitlisted. First tier and they wont give your number on the waitlist. I know they will pull people off the waitlist all the way til the start date. Good luck everyone else waiting :)

Just got my acceptance email!! Anyone else?!

Just got mine too!!!! Congrats all!!!

Hi, I'm new to the forum.. I just wanted to chime in. I went through all the application process last year. I applied to Sentara and Riverside. ODU offers a concurrent BSN program, through Riverside.

What is a concurrent BSN program?

A concurrent program is when your taking it at the same time. Riverside is a diploma program who has paired with ODU which allows you to take BSN classes solely online and completely flexible to accommodate your busy Nursing school schedule.

So when do students normally apply to the concurrent program if they've already completed all of their prereqs? Do they apply their junior or senior year?

You can apply once you're accepted into Nursing school, the ODU program is 10 classes online. They award 33 credits toward graduation. I believe ODU requires the same pre-req's Sentara requires for there BSN program. Except foreign language, if you took 3 years of language in high school or have an associates or higher degree then you don't need them. If not then you'll need two semester of a language.

Oh wow I didn't even know about that! What's the tuition rate for doing that? I don't see any info on that.

I believe it's 285 a credit hour for in-state tuition.

I got in as well!!!!

Yay! That's awesome. Can't wait to meet everyone
