Riverside offering a diploma is another factor for me not wanting to attend, but you do finish half a year sooner. ODU offers concurrent enrollment with Riverside. My sister-in-law graduated from Riverside a few years back and had nothing bad to say about Riverside. She works for Riverside now but will have to obtain her BSN within the next several years. I believe all new hires at Riverside who do not hold a BSN will have to obtain it within 5 years of employment or risk losing their job.
lakmom12-I don't think that will be a factor. I remember them telling us at open house that they put your GPA and TEAS score in a formula, and take the top 80-100 ( I think they said 100 but I can't remember) on the list. They don't care if you have a degree, experience working in the healthcare field, or have classes to complete before Jan., they just look at GPA and TEAS.
Ladies I just received my letter EARLY and I didn't make it in which sucks so much!!! I'm guessing because of my teas v score of course. Good luck to you all!
