Hi everyone!
So, I decided a little late that I wanted to go to nursing school. I go to school at Vanderbilt and have a major in Medicine, Health, and Society (GPA is 3.1 so far...not great but I struggled a lot in the beginning when I had my daughter). I'm taking prerequisite courses for nursing school. Where do I go from here when I graduate? Do I have to go through more years of school to become an RN? Or is there a way to take the degree I'll be getting and do something else (not sure what)? My ultimate plan is to become a pediatric nurse practitioner...at least for now. Sorry, I'm a little confused and don't really know what my options are.
Thanks for any help!

No matter what you are or have studied, you would need to complete a nursing program. Now that could be an associates, ADN program or bachelors BSN program. There are a few schools that have a BS (in different field) to MSN. Either way, you still have a few years of school ahead of ya...
