terms of service reminder

several posts in this thread have been edited as they contained names of instructors which is in violation of the terms of service of this site. the terms of service states:

while it is important to be able to network, everyone should be mindful of the following:

it is a small world - when we narrow it down to a state and throw in some personal info, there is actually a pretty good chance someone may recognize you if you are not careful. your privacy is paramount to us.
while allnurses.com is a wonderful place to vent (without excess personally identifiable details) it is not the place to express why ("x" specific person, place or program) is terrible. gripe away, but since we cannot permit allegations to be made about named entities, your care in not naming them is very much appreciated.
please do not give out personal information about others. do not name names (or initials) where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.

Does anyone know what to order from the uniform website? It says to place orders by tomorrow for Jan 5th delivery, but when you go to the site and type in the code 27 items come up...what is everyone else doing?

I ordered the shirt and pants, warm-up jacket, and shoes. Do they want us to buy all those specific supplies, or can we get them anywhere?

Also, are we going to be required to wear support hose?

Sorry to post so late, but I was gone on a cruise and came home to my letter, I got into BOTH programs!!!

Congratulations Ymommie! :yeah:What awesome news to come home to! I hope to make it in next Fall...gosh it's so far away! :no: Please follow up and let us hopefuls know about your "to-dos" that must get done before next year and how the program is going.

So I'm still waiting on a letter, I'm trying to squeeze some kinda information from the posts going on out there. I'm in Cat 1 finished preq's in fall 08, should I conclude that I made it in? I don't wanna get my hopes up, I'm pretty sure that my mailman thinks I'm stalking him.

I sent out an email asking what we needed as far as uniforms. I haven't gotten a reply yet. I'll let you know when I do.

I was told that we only need to order the tops (1 or 2), pants (1 or 2), and the jacket only if you think you will be cold since there is no other jacket allowed. So thats what I ordered..I got 2 tops and pants..EXPENSIVE!!:twocents:

I faxed mine, but I'm going to e-mail ***** to make sure it got there, I am so paranoid.

***** said to order at least 2 uniforms and a jacket, so that's what I ordered yesterday. I need to try the shoes on!!! She said we'll get more info in orientation. I faxed my letter and emailed *****. I think I'm going to start on the background check...

I was told that you need a shirt, pants and a jacket. She said that some will order 2 sets just in case you have back to back clinicals.

I was also confused about what times/days the classes were offered. I wasn't sure what the 12:00 classes were. She said that we will discuss those at orientation and that you won't be able to register for classes until after that.
