My reasons for the concurrent program: classes are taken at SSC Altamonte which is less than 10 minutes from my home, BIG plus 2. UCF is much harder to get into even with a high GPA 3. I am a stay at home mom and needed the nights and weekends program... Cant help you about Daytona or coccoa I am at the main campus, so my program may be different than what you are looking at. Hope I was able to help!:)

I have 2 kids and work part time and have been making good grades so it IS doable. Kinda hard to say what a typical week is like for me because it changes. This semester is kinda crazy w/ the schedule, but my summer was Mon: off, Tues: UCF class 1-4 (this was mixed mode so only met a few times then did online stuff) then SSC class 5-9, Wed or Thurs : lab 5-9; Fri: pick up clinical assignment-only every other weekend; Sat and Sun: clinical every other weekend. This semester is different and all over the place. But after the first 2 semesters UCF is all online. It is mostly writing papers (except your Health assessment class the first semester). I am in the evening program, I cant speak for the day program. But over the summer I felt like I was home a lot...looking like not so much this sesmter BUT it is short lived! Best of luck to you!

I am in the concurrent program right now, I had a 3.9 GPA and a 97 on the TEAS. This semester we had about 30 people, but I hear they will be allowing more. I think your odds of getting in are great w/ your GPA and TEAS score....best of luck to you! Thats great news! Congrats!!! Anyone in the concurrent program going nuts with this paperwork stuff??? I have forms everywhere! fax here..no wait dont ...no wait have this form..no wait pay 100 bucks for more background checks..no wait, hope you didnt pay, hold off!! AHHH!! I already paid, guess thats what I get for trying to be proactive! Hopefully we get answers Monday! I am excited! Wish this was an actual "evening" program though..2pm??? I have been scranbling trying to get care for my two small children If anyone is has small kids, I am sending mine to GoPlay..PM me I can send you their info, they are flexble AND affordible!

I was told that we only need to order the tops (1 or 2), pants (1 or 2), and the jacket only if you think you will be cold since there is no other jacket allowed. So thats what I ordered..I got 2 tops and pants..EXPENSIVE!!:twocents: I e-mailed UCF to accept my seat and got an immediate response. I hand delivered my form to SCC to accept and didnt get anything so I contacted ***** and she said as long as it was taken to the front desk I am fine uh-huh heard that one before LOL!!

Does anyone know what to order from the uniform website? It says to place orders by tomorrow for Jan 5th delivery, but when you go to the site and type in the code 27 items come up...what is everyone else doing?

Sorry to post so late, but I was gone on a cruise and came home to my letter, I got into BOTH programs!!!

I have a friend who actually called today and they said they were deciding today (she is not on this board, she just happened to call). That we should hear in about a week.

Just checked, the "For Office Use Only- MDYTRN" still there as well. I hope I hear something this week, I leave on a 7 day cruise Saturday and it would be nice to know before I go...

The lady that works in the nursing Dept told me when I called that SSC would have all applicants transcripts evaluated before they make their decisions since it cannot be made w/ out them (as long as they were submitted by the deadline)...when did you submit the transcripts?

Yep, have that on mine...hmmmmm...guess its back to the waiting game :)
