The trainings that are done in the Philippines are not accepted anyplace else. I would consider going to another country to get experience, since there are approximately 500,000 unemployed nurses there now. Going to be very hard to use any of those trainings there.
Same thing with the seminars.

Does the training for BLS and First Aid offered by the Philippine National Red Cross accredited by the AHA?

PNRC's trainings are not accredited by AHA. If you'll go in the States, you'll be required to undergo their US Red Cross' trainings.
Thanks for that robocop. I think I'll just find an institution that is accredited by the AHA.

there are lots of seminars/ trainings offered by hospitals. these are not accredited outside the PI but it will help you here & once you're out of the country because you will be familiarize with the procedures even if you'll required to do it again. try pgh, red cross & pna. do i.v.t, bls, acls & how to read ecg these are helpful anywhere.

Red Cross and AHA are two different certifications.
My question why aren't these topics covered in nursing school?
I tried to call a company, they offer BLS training, they said they are accredited by AHA. The cost of the training is around P 4k++. And I think it's only for one day. But the PNRC offer their BLS for 5 days I think and it's only P 1k++. Is the training of PNRC accredited by the hospitals here in the Philippines? I've read somewhere that hospitals need "hospital based BLS training"? Is that true?
