Here is what i did to pass the nclex.
1.)Use the random fact throwing on this discussion board
2.)Proiority, delegation, and assignment book by lacharity, bartz and somebody else.
3.)Kaplan Q bank; not the Q trainers.
4.)Far as meds look and the medications on t.v.; also know the basics beta blockers ends in lol, and so forth. Know what you check for when giving beta blockers- bp and pulse and ace inhibitors- pulse. Also drugs ending in statin control cholesterol.
5.) Pay attention to airborne, droplet, and contact precautions. There is a way you can remember which diseases go with each other in the random fact throwing in the discussion board.
6.)LOOK AT THE DISCUSSION BOARD FOR RANDOM FACT THROWING AND GET THE PRIORITY AND DELEGATION AND ASSIGNMENT STATED EARLIER. 85-90% OF MY QUESTIONS CAME FROM THOSE.
Hi everyone. I have taken the NCLEX 3 times and have failed. I really thought i was going to pass the this last time. Could anyone give me suggestions for passing the test? I am not a really good test taker. I am deeply depressed.Help.
Thank you all.
Have you looked into Suzannes Plan? There's a sticky regarding her plan. She wants you to have a date to take the nclex at least (I believe 2 months out).
I'm so sorry your going through this. Don't give up. I'll be taking my boards this summer (hopefully) and will be doing Suzannes Plan. I used it for the nclex-pn and passed.
During exam read each and every question carefully and all the answers,If u are doing good answers are not that easy to pick quickly,so just concentrate on each question, just relax loosen ur muscles and stay focussed. Also i felt you must really have to do well in the first 15 questions.good luck
