Congratulations!! I completed my second semester Wednesday and I was able to pull straight A's! I'm happy about that. The semester was very stressful, but for me it was MUCH less intense than the first semester. I'm glad it's over.
I'm excited to start Peds and OB in August, but for now I'm just focusing on this summer and the break that is much needed. We are very close to the finish line! It'll be here before we know it.
Enjoy your summer!

Straight As is awesome!! Congratulations!!! I am enjoying my break this whole summer. I'm going to get things done around this house and start exercising again. I wanted to start this weekend but I like to walk and run outside and unfortunately it's been both days. Hopefully, the sun is going to come out later today. Good Luck to everyone!!! I'm glad the credits are done and in the books.
Congratulations!! It sounds like you had a tough semester and you did very well! It feels so good to be done! I just finished up my second semester last week, I had OB and Med Surg. OB was pretty hard, especially since I had no interest/have never had kids.
I LOVED Med Surg though!!!! My plan this summer is to study for NCLEX, lol :) Good luck to you! Enjoy your well-deserved summer break!!!

My second semester is done and in the books. 2 As and 3 Bs. I will take it. Two of those Bs missed As by less than a point. Still, I'm ok with it. This semester was so very stressful with MedSurg II, Pharm, and Mental Health plus 2 clinicals. I felt like I didn't even have time to think some weeks.
I missed my son. I missed my boyfriend. I had to turn down fun things to get projects done and study. I'm going to make sure I soak up as much fun as I can this summer. I'm going to make sure I do lots with my son and live every moment.
In August I will start OB/Peds which I heard is extremely hard. Hopefully I will be recharged and ready to tackle it. I'm looking forward to this rotation though. But for right now, I'm not even thinking of August. I'm thinking of now, living in the moment.
I can't believe how close I am to having a college degree. This was such a pipe dream to me 5 years ago and now I have made it happen. I'm so excited!!! My life has changed so much for the better.
I hope everyone has a great summer!!!
