I didn't see any content here on Allnurses regarding the 2020 cohort for Seattle University's APNI-DNP program so I will start one here. Anyone else applying?
@EmmaCC Hi Emma, I have a bit of experience. I volunteered two years in post surgery geriatrics. Have done clinical and non clinical work in healthcare for the last 6 years, and have been working for an African American non profit wellness center since graduating from my masters program in healthcare administration as a navigator. Who knows though with these things, the program is very competitive and I wish everyone the best outcomes. I feel like I didn't expound enough on my letter of intent on changes from my last application, but hope to interview at the least. Last year I did a phone interview that didn't go too well. I think in person I may do a little better. Best of luck to everyone.

"SU College of Nursing will begin sending DNP interview invitations to qualified applicants very soon. The invitations won’t be sent all at the one time. They will be sent gradually over the next few weeks."
It's coming up!
Apparently, this email was an error. They just sent a follow-up email clarifying that. I should've known that by the fact that it didn't state "APNI!"
@Happy Meow What exactly was the error? Is there a different timeline for APNI? I got that first email but did not receive the follow-up email clarifying it.

I'm not quite sure. I reread the email and was thinking the same thing about the timelines being similar. The follow-up email said "You may have received a message intended for applicants to our graduate nursing program in error. Please disregard this message."
Does anyone know how many people they invite for interviews? Do they interview everyone who meets the minimum requirements and doesn't have glaring red flags in their application?
On the previous cohort's forum, I didn't see anyone who said they weren't invited for an interview... but maybe they just didn't post it? Wondering how excited I should be about this. Don't want to get my hopes up...
@EmmaCC, I also received the above email but did not receive the error response, I am curious about that as well.
I would be very excited if I were you! My gut tells me it's not feasible to interview all minimally qualified, but I could very well be wrong.
There were two others on here that also applied to your same track, I wonder if they got invites yet?
