I didn't see any threads for Seattle University, so I thought I would start one. What classes are you taking, current GPA, extracurriculars, etc? Any thoughts on the application process?
I guess I will start by saying that I am currently finishing 2 prerequisites. Currently my overall GPA is 3.3 and pre-req GPA is a 3.9. I'm starting a CNA program, so hopefully that goes well. My overall GPA is low, so I am worried about that.
Specializes in IR, Cardiac Tele,Burns, Peds Trauma & ER.
It's still funny to me that now days we call a 3.56 a "decent" GPA. It will be nice that once in a program, we will not have the pressure to continually have completely perfect grades.
Ah, but we still need to get those "decent" grades in order to get that Merit Scholarship that they offer... I will take 10k off of my tuition if they are going to offer it....
HELLO ladies and gents:=) Just wanted to wish you guys all the best. The wait game is not fun @ all..I know cuz I was like you guys 2 years ago! I got into both SU and UW programs and I chose to go to SU (the merit scholarship played a huge part in my decision making)!
I'm grauating this summer and oh boy..has it been a rollercoaster ride. Enjoy your summer is the best advice I can give...once you start..it's going to be brutal;-) (well...in a good way:-)
Have not been mailed out yet. They "hope to send them out tomorrow." That is what they told me today. So I am hoping I get my Saturday (since I live in Seattle). Monday at the latest
My app status is still the same, but I did get my financial package offer and new student checklist from SU in the mail today. Funny that it would arrive prior to the admissions offer....
I just called and they would not confirm or deny my acceptance. :) They said that financial services ended up sending some information out to a few students on accident, and it should't have gone out until next week.
LUCKY!!! I am still waiting for mine in the mail... Mail came... just not the important stuff. Ill get it monday. I guess hoping mail from seattle to bellevue in a day is too much to ask.
Good luck Zegwin! I'm was pretty surprised to get mine today since I'm in Everett. Don't worry about the online app status because mine still hasn't changed.
