  1. What's schools are you applying to? I heard my friend who is currently a nursing student at SU told me that we were not likely to get off the waitlist once May was over because they basically called and admitted enough amount of waitlisted students for nursing school. Sometimes we would be called and offered a spot in July, but it rarely occurs unless someone decline the offer. I think all waitlisted students wouldn't declined the offer once they sent the waitlisted card and have been waiting for months. I am kinda given up too, I am working on some other classes. ?
  2. No. I haven't called them yet. How's about you? I sent them an email before to ask whether or not they were done calling students for offering the spot, they wouldn't answer my question instead they just said if we are offered a spot, we should receive a call and and an email for that. Otherwise, we would receive a denied letter. I want to ask them many questions but they seem not straightly answer them.
  3. Did they inform you that they were done calling the waitlisted students for offering the acceptance?
  4. Jbotello- any new news?
  5. I haven't heard anything either. Due to what you said, we should find out whether we would get off the list by this week. So I assumed we will receive a letter instead of a call or email because today is Saturday, this week was over. I feel so sad coz I already tried my best.
  6. Has anyone else gotten off the waitlist?
  7. Admissions told me the College of Nursing is considering offering the acceptance to a very limited number of waitlisted students. If we are the ones of the students, we should receive both call and email. If not, we would receive a letter says the program is full. I guess we won't get off the wait list if we don't receive anything today.
  8. Did you ask them about your status?
  9. No. I haven't heard anything yet. ?
  10. Do you know If they will call or sending an email for that?
  11. I sent an email to ask how far down I was on the waitlist, but no reply. I am wondering it would be nicer if I know my number on the list.
  12. Has anyone heard back from SU for the waitlist status?
  13. Missjohnson- what will you do next? Do you accept the waitlist invitation from SU or not? Do you get anything from wsu? Will you attend wsu if you are admitted? Good luck!
  14. Lovedogs31- I know SPU also has a very great program, but SU is my first choice. I am still waiting for an opening spot even thought I was on the wait list. I am also hoping a spot at SPU as well, but I don't know what to do if I am luckily admitted to SPU, though. I asked the SU admissions office when I will hear back on the final decision. They said the staff will consider the waitlisted students sometime in June. But admitted students must deposit an amount of money by May 1st to confirm they will attend the program (I don't know how it works for SPU). Do you have any idea?
