Well, I know it's early.
Anyone applying for 2015 start?!?
@may25 I'm really hoping that they're over estimating that time frame because that's crazy. They will no doubt loose some really good applicants if they end up making people wait that long for a response.
If it's any consolation, they told me I wouldn't hear back for almost a month on whether or not I would be admitted, and I ended up hearing back that I got in the Wednesday following my interview. Best of luck!!
Well I'm starting to loose hope as a psych applicant. They had their final round of interviews this weekend and at least three more people were admitted and I still haven't heard anything. I'm wondering if they actually plan on admitting anymore or the rest of the interviewed psych applicants should consider ourselves waitlisted?
I am a traditional MSN applicant for the Adult NP program. I called Ben since most of the news I have been reading are for the APNI program. Ben told me that they are still reviewing the APNI applications and have not looked at the traditional MSN applicants yet and hope to review them soon next month. From what I have heard that they typically don't accept so many MSN applicants but I don't know for how many spots. Any idea on how many traditional MSN applicants they accepted last year for each program?

I have also applied for this program as well but for the FNP track. IIRC, they said the amount of applicants they receive is nowhere near the amount for APNI but I can't remember the total number of applicants they typically receive. They said for the FNP track they accept about 10-12 people. I'm not sure what the number is for Adult.
Hi lexi1822 - I'm a current APNI student at SU. Aside from your personal preferences for which city you will move to (based on family/friends/distance/etc)... I have a friend who chose Columbia over SU and she seems a lot happier with her program overall than I am with SU. Which is not to say that I'm necessarily *unhappy* with SU, but her program seems to be better organized and includes more clinical hours. Just FYI.
@seattleite188
I am in the same boat as you. I also interviewed for the psych track and i haven't heard anything yet. How do you know 3 more people were admitted? I still have one prerequisite pending that I finish by May, so that might be a factor in my admission.
Don't lose hope! Still got lots of time. Hopefully we find out before mid March.

What is the approximate cost for SeattleU? I haven't even gotten any interview yet but just trying to see.
