I've been a reader of these message boards for some time and thought I'd finally start participating. I didn't see a thread for the SU APNI 2011 application process, so I thought that as the deadline is this week I would start a thread and see how everyone's process went. I'm interested in the primary care np track myself.

I'm a Seattle local and applied to the FNP program. My status finally changed this morning to "as soon as possible." The mail usually arrives between 3 and 4 PM at my house, so I'll let you know if I receive any news.

Congratulations! This is very exciting news! We haven't heard much from the psych folks, so I'm glad that there is movement. It was a really hard choice for me between primary care (FNP/AGNP) and psych (as my background is completely in psych in my current career, but I ended up choosing to apply to AGNP.

I'm sure this message board is really going to be lighting up in the next week!
