Seattle University APNI Program 2018

Nursing Students Post Graduate

I'm interested in applying to the APNI program at SU. I've been reading a lot of the forums from other years, and have found it's quite competitive! I would love to hear from other people, and their track. Or if someone is in the program and has any advice about what they like in an applicant. Thank you!

I applied FNP. Was so tempted to choose Community Health!

Yeah, I considered it too for a minute until I realized it wasn't a practitioner degree.

I applied for FNP. What about you?

I applied for cnm. I'm not sure if the website meant we choose two advanced practice roles, or of community health was the other advanced role.

I was thinking on that too, but not where I'm trying to go in the long run.

Yep, how I felt as well

I applied for FNP. I am looking for the broadest primary care role, so that made the most sense to me.

That was a good idea.

Hi All! I applied to the PMHNP track. A friend of mine who applied last year said he got the interview email Feb 2. Hope that helps!

So this coming week we should be hearing back!

Hello All Fellow Applicants.

I applied last year and successfully made it to the interview process. I will say that I was very much in your shoes last year (As a first time applicant). I understand that it may be a stressful time as you count the days and hope that your application is selected for a Interview. As many of you know it is an outrageously competitive program, and admissions is a very competitive process.

As much as you can, do you best to relax and take a deep breath.

I received an invitation for an interview last Wednesday. I'm a bit nervous but calm at the same time because I believe everything happens for a reason. Wishing all of you the best of luck as you proceed forward in the application process.

CONGRATS! You got this!

I didn't know they were already sending invitations out. Man I'm nervous now. What day are you interviewing on?

Congrats. What program did you apply to?
