Seattle University APNI Program 2018

I'm interested in applying to the APNI program at SU. I've been reading a lot of the forums from other years, and have found it's quite competitive! I would love to hear from other people, and their track. Or if someone is in the program and has any advice about what they like in an applicant. Thank you!

Hey everyone, has anyone heard back that applied to the FNP track? I was looking at last year's thread and it seems like invitations were received a little bit before January ended so I'm just getting a little nervous...

It looks like last year they started interviewing late January and this year they will start on Feb 3rd. I think the invites should be going out this week. The wait is so brutal, though.

The person that got an interview never answered about whether her app tracker changed. Have you guys seen on any other thread where anyone said it did after they were invited for an interview?

I would not be too concerned as I thibk that they interview in batches. I am sure interview requests will be going on all throughout February. Don't despair!

I just got an email this evening about interviews for the APNI/DNP-FNP track. I'm not sure how many days of interviews they are holding, but I had the option to choose between 2/3 and 2/10. Hopefully this helps, and good luck everyone!

Hi guys! I applied to the DNP program for nurse midwifery. I'll have my BSN in May so I'm not going for the APNI program but i figured I'd join you. I'm on pins and needles waiting for any word! I actually applied for the apni program back in 2016 (before I got into an ABSN program). I interviewed back then too so I'm hoping I can interview again!

Hi Everyone! I was so relieved to find this thread as I applied to the APNI Nurse Midwifery program and haven't heard back yet. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one!

Just curious- does anyone who has applied before know if interviews can be held over skype? I live in California and it sounds like they are going to give us very little notice before our interviews if I get selected. Flying up on just a few days notice (I have two young daughters who aren't in any type of daycare) might prove to be tricky!

Hi Haley! I interviewed two years ago and it was through the phone. I was living in California at the time too :) I'm not in Maine for nursing school so if I hopefully get an interview this time I'll be opting for a remote one too.

Hello everyone! So glad I found this thread. I applied for the AGNP track and am anxiously waiting to hear back. Hopefully we'll hear back by the end of today. :)

has anyone for the apni nurse midwifery track been invited to interview yet?

ever since i got the email stating they'd be inviting us the last week of january i've been buggin'! i check my email every few hours!
