I'm interested in applying to the APNI program at SU. I've been reading a lot of the forums from other years, and have found it's quite competitive! I would love to hear from other people, and their track. Or if someone is in the program and has any advice about what they like in an applicant. Thank you!
hey y'all!has anyone for the apni nurse midwifery track been invited to interview yet?
ever since i got the email stating they'd be inviting us the last week of january i've been buggin'! i check my email every few hours!
thanks & good luck! :)
with love from new orleans!
I haven't received anything. Been checking my email just the same.
Mine says pending as well. I don't think we should rely on the app tracker too much to be honest. The wait SUCKS, but I guess we just have to wait. I checked the forums from some of the previous years, and it looks like they tend to batch the interviews based on the different programs. Just an observation, not saying it is correct. Also, there is a new associate dean this year since Anne Hirsch went to the U. Things might be different. I applied to the PMHNP program.
Hello!
I applied for the FNP track and I just got the e-mail telling me to schedule an interview either February 3 or 10th. From my understanding, of posts from last year, Seattle U sends out letters throughout the month so it could be a while! I'm trying to prepare for my interview but it seems that the questions are both general but specific to you and your passion. Sending good thoughts to everyone!
I emailed them today because the timeline email said that those selected for interview would be notified at the end of the month, which is today. They said that nursing faculty shoud be sending out emails "soon", and those NOT selected for interview will be notified by the grad dept. So, if you haven't heard anything, like me, it's probably a good thing.

Notified when for those not selected? Could be after all interviews are completed...

I applied to FNP but yeah. I feel you. I am just trying to calm/distract myself and stop checking my email every 5 minutes. It's so awful.
