  1. We have class or clinical or lab every day (at least for this first quarter). Friday is a short day but the rest of the days are long.
  2. Amelie, I'd rather not share mine, but I'd be happy to give you some pointers on your essay!
  3. For all who weren't accepted: don't give up! Here are my stats if that helps: Undergrad gpa: 3.3 Prerequisite gpa: ~3.5 2000 CNA hours 1500 social services assistant hours 60 volunteer hours I also followed the advice of the admissions committee to a T...have you all listened to their recordings on the website regarding the application? Good luck!!!
  4. Good thing you'll know by the end of the day! Sending good vibes :)
  5. I don't remember either! But he said not right away.
  6. I'm so excited y'all I just got the call about twenty minutes ago!!
  7. I don't know all the details. I heard something like they will interview for double the amount of spots they need, so I guess if they don't find their cohort amongst those people then they would reach out to the second tier? Some people may give up their spot too, if they are applying at other schools. So you never know.
  8. That's my understanding, yes. You can still get an interview later though if they want to keep looking at more applicants.
  9. Okay you guys, I finally called myself and got the lowdown from Chelsa. Apparently they have gone through all of the applications and have sent out the first wave of invites. These are for the top applicants. If the faculty feels they want to interview more, they will send out a second wave of invites. She said the process is very "fluid", because the faculty likes to get a wide sense of the applicant pool and that may require further interviews, so it's hard to give definitive answers at this point about what will happen. She said they'll get back to us as soon as possible, but it sounds like we may not hear anything definitive until March. I hope that helps. Personally, I'm not getting my hopes up, but I will continue checking my email (however less frequently). I'm going to move on in my mind though, since I was not in their top applicant pool. I wish you all good luck and don't worry if you don't get in. It's so competitive and I'm sure not indicative of how great an NP you will be in the future! Namaste, y'all.
  10. I applied to FNP but yeah. I feel you. I am just trying to calm/distract myself and stop checking my email every 5 minutes. It's so awful.
  11. Are we required to send in Fall quarter transcripts now or can we wait till our prereqs are finished? Assuming we get in.
  12. Yeah, I considered it too for a minute until I realized it wasn't a practitioner degree.
  13. I applied for FNP. What about you?
  14. I'm guessing since they said the end of the month it won't be till the 30th or 31st. We'll see.
  15. I am also applying this December for the APNI FNP program. Does anyone know how many applications they receive for this program typically?
