I'm interested in applying to the APNI program at SU. I've been reading a lot of the forums from other years, and have found it's quite competitive! I would love to hear from other people, and their track. Or if someone is in the program and has any advice about what they like in an applicant. Thank you!

Have you guys heard anything? I was told my app is being reviewed.

ok thanks for sharing! Has Chelsa (the coordinator of the program) been your point person. Thats who I have been talking with.

I don't have a point person. I wanted to know what was going on, I called gave them my info and was told it's being reviewed.

I'm so glad I found this forum. I too applied for the FNP track at SU. I've already interviewed with Azusa Pacific and they found that I was missing a class, so I ended up getting rejected. :( I almost wish I didn't know I was rejected since it makes me so much more nervous that the same issue is going to happen again. I'm super determined to become an advanced practice nurse, but it's so nerve wracking to wait and hope and pray that I have everything that the schools and the interviewers want. I hope we all hear back soon. Good luck and prayers to all of you!

Wow! Couldn't they allow you to just take the course on a conditional acceptance? That's really crazy, cause then they missed it too!! They review your app they should've seen a course was missing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I've never wanted and been so excited about anything in my life! I dream that I'm accepted. Good luck to you. Hopefully we'll be there together.

@Hope2banurse1 Thank you so much for the support. I was thinking the same thing, but it's not good for me to dwell. I'm trusting God on this one. I also just found out that I had an application fee not go through on another application. I hope this bad luck is just God's way of guiding me in the right direction. @SW004, it was a public speaking class, which is luckily not one of the prerequisites for SU.

You're welcome Nathaisia. I can definitely understand not dwelling. Omg that is absolutely crazy! Hey, anything is possible through God right! I'm hoping what I'm going through is the same thing you're hoping. Really? í ½í¸¦a public speaking class?! Wow
