Seattle University APNI Program 2018

Nursing Students Post Graduate

I'm interested in applying to the APNI program at SU. I've been reading a lot of the forums from other years, and have found it's quite competitive! I would love to hear from other people, and their track. Or if someone is in the program and has any advice about what they like in an applicant. Thank you!

@Hope2banurse1 Thank you so much for the support. I was thinking the same thing, but it's not good for me to dwell. I'm trusting God on this one. I also just found out that I had an application fee not go through on another application. I hope this bad luck is just God's way of guiding me in the right direction. @SW004, it was a public speaking class, which is luckily not one of the prerequisites for SU.

Sorry you went through that! Hopefully things turn around with Seattle *crosses fingers* the wait is pure torture!

But yeah I'm surprised they didn't alert you about the missing prerequisite beforehand...

Yea me too. I received notifications about missing or unqualified classes from the other schools. I could've at least been in progress when they interviewed me had they told me earlier. I truly think it was just a clerical error or something of that nature. It sucks to get your hopes up though and then be told after your interview is over that one of your classes doesn't count. Hopefully I'm just a horror story and none of you experience the same thing.

I definitely understand about the hopes and dreams thing. This is something that requires years of dedication to even be eligible to apply for. So I am trying to do anything other than sit on my hands and wait. Its harder than it sounds to not go crazy.

I am with you on that one! Every day is one day closer, but every minute feels like an eternity. Distraction is my only method of staying sane at this point. Lol

Anybody heard anything yet?

Nope :(

I was told by a friend, that Seattle haven't sent out any interview invites yet. Said she was told school of nursing haven't said when they want to start interviews. So...I am hoping that's a good thing.

I'm guessing since they said the end of the month it won't be till the 30th or 31st. We'll see.

Hey guys have any of you decided on the two major tracks or the community health option?
