Anyone already applying at Seattle U? Which track? I haven't finished my pre-req's, so I am probably not too competitive this year, but I am going to apply anyway. I am applying for the nurse-midwife track and my background is Microbiology (UW).
No no, don't get worried, seriously. I was thinking the other day that they are probably doing something "easy" for the nursing department but really complicated for graduate admissions people. They probably send a long list ordered by last name with all the specialties and then some "lucky" person has to go one by one, triple checking for time, date, track..
I received my email one week and a half before my interview. I am guessing the lucky person stopped sending emails somewhere on the letter S :). The next available date is March 5th if I am not mistaken, so it is possible they will go from S to Z on the date, who knows? But that means they have a little bit of time to send these last emails: one week and a half before the 5th is February 22nd.
I'm TOTALLY guessing here! But I've seen this exact same thing happening before. I hope you and everybody else hears soon - this wait really sucks.
Sorry NursePrac - I was wrong. Kalium said this:Just received my interview date and time for the psych track. The email says interviews will be held on Feb 22, 25, 29 and March 1. I'm assuming this is for all tracks, not just psych though. It seems so soon!!! I don't know why I thought it would the the 5th, but anyways..
So, I received the email really late in the day on friday, remember? So, if the 1st is the day following my interview (mine is on wed, so 1st will be thursday), then it's probably going to be really soon, but I would not expect anything really early tomorrow because your last name is W, right?I still don't understand why they prefer doing it by last name rather than by specialty, but oh well.
