Seattle U - APNI 2012

Anyone already applying at Seattle U? Which track? I haven't finished my pre-req's, so I am probably not too competitive this year, but I am going to apply anyway. I am applying for the nurse-midwife track and my background is Microbiology (UW).

I'm thinking they may be going in order of last name or perhaps people traveling from out of state as there are people from both AGNP and CNM who have received their interview dates. Hang in there those of still waiting

I agree, but maybe first name? My last name is S and first is L!Svetlana, where are you fellow future midwife? Do you have your date already?

my last name is W, and first is A. So I doubt by first name.

Hi Blackbird! I haven't seen you in a while - you're a microbiologist too, right? ;) Did you get your interview date yet? Can you share your last name initial to help with deciphering the pattern?

So pretty cool to imagine our little midwifery class, we already have four (I think the total is 8? 10?)

Yeah! Well, I have my bachelor's in microbio, but I work as a PCA. My last initial is S and I still haven't received my interview date yet either. Checking my email obsessively as I wait! I'm coming from Ohio, so at this point, and given my work schedule being not flexible (at least with this little notice), I am wondering what they would think if I asked for a phone or video interview. Do you know if anyone else has done that before?

I think last year there were a few people who had phone interviews! I remember reading that!

Hi, blackbird. We're in the same boat as I'm coming from Chicago and still have not received an interview date. I do want to go still but I'm not sure how doing a video or phone would work. I'm also CNM

Ahhh I'm starting to get really anxious, as I'm AGNP and I haven't heard anything about an interview date yet, while a couple others in my track have...Hopefully soon?

Oh Pooja I feel your pain. I was checking my email every second. It just occurred to me that they could be telling the dates by last name *for every track* which makes sense if people like me with last initial S took the 29th and that theres so muh delay between people from the same track. It doesn't make a lot of sense from the organization POV but it could be happening.
