SDSU Fall 2012 admission hopefuls

Good luck everybody! I really hope that you all get in. This is a really stressful time in our academic careers, so let's use this thread to comfort each other and to answer each others questions about the admissions process. And at one point or another, celebrate our admission in the SON. Thank you very much!

I applied to 5 colleges but won't hear back to one of them till July so thats my super last resort. I want to live off campus, and I too will be traveling home probably twice a month. Hope we get in!

I hope we find out soon too;however, I called today and they said mid-late April so probably won't hear this week. ugh.Yes, I agree it feels like its been a year for sure. I don't know what to do because I got into Channel Islands but you know how the schools want to know if your going to accept or decline the offer pretty fast so if i don't hear from SDSU by the 23rd I don't know what to do because thats the deadline for me to determine if I'm going to go to CI or not. If i knew i wasn't getting into SDSU I would obviously accept Channel Islands and be done but If I get into SDSU I want to go there. Damn how can I already be stressing? lol. Seems like all the schools I've applied too have completely different agendas. Any suggestions?

@ spiffyness- that's crazy how you won't hear from one of the colleges you applied to till July. What the heck? What school is that?

It's CSU San Bernardino. Soooo late! Are you allowed to accept to CI and withdraw if you get into SDSU? Is there a deposit? I would do that it that's the case to save a spot at CI

@ spiffyness- Wow thats so crazy. I wonder why they drag that out so damn long!! Well whats your first choice if you got to pick? Well I have till the 23rd so I'm going to cross my fingers I find out from SDSU before then. If not that Ill just save a spot at CI. Now they you mention it...I don't know if there is a deposit. Ill have to look into that. The paperwork didn't say anything about a deposit. I know SDSU has a huge non-refundable deposit. ekkk!! Okay I'm ready to hear the verdict already!!!! How will we find out? Via e-mail? Is that what everyone is saying? Hey do you know if Long Beach is sending out letters in the mail or e-mail? We should be hearing from them any day now too!

Yeah it is sooo late. I will be hearing back from SFSU and CSULB soon! Probably by the end of next week :) Do you know how much the non-refundable deposit it for SDSU? And I think CSULB is sending decisions via email

I don't know for sure what SDSU deposit is but I've heard $400.00. Pretty steep but I'm sure they want people that are a 100% sure of their decision. Okay I'm thinking next week we will hear for sure!! Good luck everyone!!

Woooooooooooooooooooooow $400?!?!?! That is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo MUCH oh my goodness! I was thinking that if I was accepted I would just say okay and pay the deposit and if I choose to go somewhere else then just lose the deposit money, but I had no idea it was going to be around that much?! Can anyone who was accepted in the past verify?

A couple of my friends go to SDSU right now and they had to pay a non-refundable $400 deposit.
