SDSU BSN Fall 2019

Published

Hi all! I applied to transfer to SDSU's BSN program to start in 2019. I thought I could start a thread where we all could share our stats and experiences. Here are my stats:

Prereq GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 89.3%

This puts me at 68 points as I have no work experience. Good luck to everyone!!!

Has anyone on this forum got accepted from the waitlist or does anyone in this forum know anyone that got accepted from the waitlist? Please let me know ?Thanks in advance!!

Hi everyone!

I am currently looking for some female roommates who will also be transferring into the program as well. If anyone is interested, please let me know. :) Thanks!

Also, has anyone been requested to send an enrollment verification for spring courses? Thanks!

I am also looking for roommates! Where are you looking to live? I’m looking at a couple places this weekend before the nursing thing this Sunday.

All admitted applicants have until May 1st to submit their intent to enroll, initial transcripts, tests scores, and TEAS report (which constitutes the acceptance of the admission offer); if any of these materials are missing, then the Admissions office and the SON assumes that you deny the offer of admission. Also, there's no button to just deny the offer of admission (so waitlisted applicants can hear sooner), unfortunately.

This means that waitlisted applicants won't hear back until May 2nd at the earliest, since the Admissions office and the SON still need to determine how many spots they need to fill.

Best of luck to you, RN9999! I know how grueling the waiting can be. Hope you end up getting offered admission from the waitlist!

Thank you so so much! I wasn't aware that there isn't a deny button so I guess I won't know anything until the beginning of May. In the email, they said I would know by early June but hopefully it will be sooner than that! I appreciate the info and your time!!

Hi!! Me & my friend who got accepted into the program as transfers are looking at a 3 bedroom place, with 2 singles & one shared room, if you are interested message me!

Hi everyone! I was just wondering if any of you who have been admitted have been requested by the office of admissions to send an enrollment verification of your spring 2019 courses? Thanks!

Not me. That is the first time I've heard of that, so I would check the "enrollment verification" section on your web portal (to see exactly which classes/semesters need to be verified) and give admissions a call on how the issue can be resolved. Hope this helps!

Did you get an email from admissions about it? Or is it like on your portal as a to do item?

Also- did those of you who were accepted, send official TEAS scores or just a copy of it?

I did not receive an email about it, nor is it on my portal as a required item. However, my friend who also got accepted was asked for one though. I called admissions and asked about it two times and they said not to worry about it, but I thought I'd ask you guys as well.
