Hi all! I applied to transfer to SDSU's BSN program to start in 2019. I thought I could start a thread where we all could share our stats and experiences. Here are my stats:
Prereq GPA: 4.0
Overall GPA: 4.0
TEAS: 89.3%
This puts me at 68 points as I have no work experience. Good luck to everyone!!!

When I attended Explore SDSU last Saturday, I went to a Nursing Transfer Info session and the speaker said that there's 60 people on the waitlist, with the lowest point cutoff being at 64. So, as long as you have 64 points, then you still have a chance of getting in. Hope this helps!

Not really. According to Admissions and the SON, all you need to do is submit your intent to enroll, your initial transcripts (up to Fall 2018), your AP/IB/CLEP/etc. scores (if applicable), your work experience verification (if applicable), and the photocopy of your TEAS test if you accept the admission offer. When Spring 2019 grades come out for your college, then you need to submit the final official transcripts.
After completing the intent to enroll process, I think that we just need to do the other things (activating our SDSUid, registering for the WPA, applying for financial aid/scholarships, reviewing immunization requirements, paying basic tuition and fees, and attending new student orientation) to ease our transition for the fall.
When the Fall 2019 cohort is finalized, the SON will reach out to us regarding the SON orientation (which is different from the new student orientation) and other miscellaneous things before we start in the fall. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much I appreciate it!
