Published

Hello California people,

I am starting this thread because the application for external candidates starts tomorrow, November 7th.

Has anyone applied as an internal candidate?

What areas are you interested in?

Any interviewees or hired new grads from past cycles?

I am looking forward to a lively discussion :yeah:

That's wonderful news! I'm so happy for you. Hope the interview goes well. Best of luck to you. I got a rejection email today  I wish so badly that I had submitted my application earlier, but who knows if that would have even done me any good. I don't graduate until December so I guess I was really pushing it with taking my boards and starting a residency program around the same time. I wish I planned better :o

Thank you so much!

im sure youll find something bigger and better when you graduate.

Goodluck to you!!

i also applied monday morning and my status says applicant review. it's so frustrating. i just wanna know either way so i can move on if i'm not selected.

On the website, it says that everyone will be notified by this Friday whether they've been selected or not.

It didn't change, it just says applicant review still.

I just want to make sure... when we applied, there was no option to choose our preferred units right? i remembered putting which hospitals but not the unit.. i just want to make sure. im just wondering how are we supposed to know which unit were gonna interview for. hmm

There was no option for unit, just hospitals. Different hiring managers will be there, so they will choose where to place us I am sure. I plan on taking anything I am offered, I am not voicing a preference.

Yeah.. same here.. I just wanted to make sure.. thanks!

I just called to get an update on when the last e-mails would be sent regarding interviews and the receptionist said they probably won't be done sending them until early next week... so she said to just hang tight if you have not received an e-mail yet!

How did everyone's interview go? I have mine on Wednesday the nerves are starting to kick in just a smidge. This will be my first interview for a New Grad Rn Program.
