Scripps New Grad Program

Hi all!

Its that wonderful time again. Thought I would start this thread for any news from Scripps New Grad Program. Hopefully we hear good things back soon! Good luck to everyone!

good to know @tooproudtomention , I received an email about 4 pm today for an interview. My status changed to applicant review.

If you don't mind me asking, what time did you submit your application and what program are you getting interviewed for?

I got in it before 9 am, not too sure of the exact time. They did not specify the unit that we are interviewing for, figured that will be decided by the interviewers and where they see you fit within the hospital.

I think generally the new grad program you rotate units/facilities and by the end of the program you will be placed in your "home unit." Friend of mine was hired and precepted at Mercy and was placed at in the Green facility once she finished. I don't think your choices are biased toward to previous experience and it sounded like she had minimal input to where she was placed.

Just got my email! I'm interviewing on November 11 for both the DEU and System Wide residencies. So excited! Anyone else get good news?

Congrats CaliRN13! I too am interviewing! It looks like they are interviewing all week! Mine is on Friday, Nov 15th. Thankfully this works great with my work schedule. But I'm glad it is before Thanksgiving. That way maybe we will find out right before X-mas if we get hired!

Yes I have, although it didn't go very good so I hope this time I won't be as nervous and I'll be more prepared!!

Hi everyone, I am so glad I found this post. I submitted my apple at 8:04. My status has not changed yet. Hopefully I receive an interview email soon. Good luck to those that have!
