Hi all!
Its that wonderful time again. Thought I would start this thread for any news from Scripps New Grad Program. Hopefully we hear good things back soon! Good luck to everyone!
I didn't ask her when we would hear back...but yes, it looks like people started getting notifications for interviews after only a day or two. I am a CA resident and licensed in CA but working as an RN in Arizona, where I went to nursing school. I would love to work for Scripps.
I only attached a resume....
When I go to look at status it now only shows a cna job I applied for last year. After I submitted my app it showed up as submitted along with the last new grad position I applied for.
@aloix14, oh I don't know what that is. Maybe they are already reviewing it. When I check my status I see my applications and see that it says "Submission Received." I submitted my application around 9 am.
Does anyone else have a similar situation as aloix14?
I applied by 8:28! lol. One of my best friends got an email for an interview last time by the end of the week. She got hired! It turns out Scripps picks the unit you're going into..She didn't really have a choice.
Was this for the summer program? What unit did she precept on and what unit did Scripps pick for her?
I feel like many new grad programs really look at what unit you precept on for jobs.
And thanks for the info! I hope that means people who get interviews hear soon! Oh by the way, is your friend from San Diego?

Hey @TooProudToMention my friend and I grew up in NorCal and went to San Francisco State University, but her permanent address is even further north by Sacramento. I think she did her preceptorship on a BMT unit, and was assigned to Cardiac Med/Tele or something like that? Sorry I can't be more specific. I remember her texting me and saying "Well, I guess this is my unit!" She wasn't disappointed at all, though. After all...we're not exactly in a position to be picky. lol!

Insane! Did the recruiter say when we can expect a response? From the other forums it looks like just one or two days up to a week that people were getting emails to interview. Just curious if the recruiter gave an estimation for this time around!
