Scripps new grad program summer 2013

Thought I would post another thread on here for the scripps new grad program starting this summer as applications are open for internals and soon will open for externals. I myself am an internal, applied Monday, and have an interview already set for May 7th... Good luck to all!!!

FYI i called HR today and tried to ask about the # of openings and when they reached the 500 mark. I don't think the guy knew what he was talking about because he told me that there were only 2 openings. When I further asked about there being 2 residency applications, but how many positions they anticipate within the Fall 2013 Residency, he still said 2......but we know that the La Jolla DEU opening has at least 9 positions...and then he said they hadn't reached 500 applicants yet....lol thought I would pass along the info, but take it all with a grain of salt...I don't think its right at all...

Yeah. Last year's spring program hit 500 around noon. I think the last cohort it was around 3pm if I remember correctly.

so weird, I applied to the residency and then went back to apply for the la jolla one and it keeps taking me in circles. I've filled in the supplemental questions 3 times now lol. anyone else going in circles?

Yes! Happened 3 times to me...Just keep trying! Hopefully you have your answers saved on a word document and you can just copy/paste :)

1) Does the La Jolla app ask for the same questions? I should have saved my responses.

2) Does the La Jolla app have the 500 applicant cut off also or not?

I haven't received a confirmation email for the new grad residency, but got one for the la jolla one...?

Yes the La Jolla app ask the same questions, so it only takes like 5 mins to apply. And it also has the 500 cut off. Also, they weren't sending confirmation emails for the new grad program, just the La Jolla one right now.

I got an application confirmation and I did not apply for La Jolla, just the regular residency.

I did not apply to the La Jolla one, just the regular residency. I think the La Jolla one has something to do with working with Education?

I don't have it in my email on my phone and I am at work. It was a standard confirmation email. I know I got it because I looked at it again later in the day.

I got an email from the fall 2013 residency application, but it was sent after i submitted the general app and before i completed the talent mine assessment.

It said something like "Thank you for your interest in Scripps Health. The next step in our online application process requires you to complete the TalentMine candidate assessment......then gave log-in info, and said thanks for our interest in scripps, check status check online, and so forth"

I never received a general confirmation of submission after everything was completed.

I didn't have to do talent mine since I did it in November, so I didn't get that one.
