Scripps New Grad Program Jan/March 2019

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to start a thread for the Scripps New Grad application for the Jan/March 2019 cohorts that opened 9/17-9/19 so we could keep each other updated and calm our nerves :)

I'd love to know if anyone else here applied while still in school! I graduate in Dec but figured it wouldn't hurt to apply and see if my stuff makes t past ATS.

Interviews are on Oct. 22 and 23 and based on previous cohorts status changes/interview invites seem to go out between Oct.3-Oct 13th! But who knows- their rules can always change!

Congrats! Was this for scripps la jolla DEU? or just scripps la jolla?

By any chance did anyone on here interview with 3 women who took 2 portfolios instead of just 1? Didn't think to ask whether I was interviewing for just La Jolla or La Jolla DEU...I didn't know there was a difference then.

My paper with my interviewers names say "La Jolla Interview Panel Names"

My paper with my interviewers' names also only say "La Jolla Interview Panel Names", it doesn't specify if it's just La Jolla or deu & my offer was for deu.

I've following this thread for a while and this is my first comment I just got good news today at 3:30pm with Scripps La Jolla starting Jan 7. Good luck to the rest of you guys. They are taking in 79 people for Jan n March.

Congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, which interview date and panel (a 2, 3, or 4 person panel) did you have?

Same! Got the good news Wednesday 10/31/18 around 3pm from Scripps La Jolla DEU for Medical Oncology. Start date is January 7. I am also an external applicant and this was my second time applying. My interview was Monday 10/22/18 with a panel of 3. They took 1 of my portfolios. They were about to take 2, but one of the interviewers changed her mind last minute, which made me very worried! After my interview they gave me a pamphlet about the DEU. I didn't receive any rapid fire questions. They asked only a handful of questions from the list of questions they had.

Anyone else hear back from the other scripps hospitals? Seems like it's just Scripps La Jolla and Scripps La Jolla DEU so far.

Like someone mentioned earlier, don't lose hope!! Good luck everyone!!

My status hasn't changed. Still says "interview" and hasn't been updated since Oct. 10.
