Scripps New Grad Program Jan/March 2019

Published

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to start a thread for the Scripps New Grad application for the Jan/March 2019 cohorts that opened 9/17-9/19 so we could keep each other updated and calm our nerves :)

I'd love to know if anyone else here applied while still in school! I graduate in Dec but figured it wouldn't hurt to apply and see if my stuff makes t past ATS.

Interviews are on Oct. 22 and 23 and based on previous cohorts status changes/interview invites seem to go out between Oct.3-Oct 13th! But who knows- their rules can always change!

I wish the best of luck to everyone!!

I also applied for this application period. Looking back on past threads it looks like we should know if our status changes either next week or the week after. Good luck to everyone!

Did you complete personally assessment? I read in previous threads that some people got them right after sumbmitting the app. I did not receive one so I wonder if that means anything.

This is my second time applying. The first time I applied I did get it, this time I did not get the personality assessment.

Hi!

Thanks for starting this thread!

I graduate in December as well and applied for the cohort starting in March. I was wondering about the personality test too, I did not receive the assessment in an email but saw that previous applicants had to complete one.

Best of luck everyone! Keep your fingers crossed !

Hi everyone!

I'm so happy I found this thread! I'm done with school in Dec so I figured I'll have my license by March so I can start with the March cohort. I'm actually in Florida so I'm hoping they let us know if we got the interview so I can plan that out. I was sort of confused because I saw last year they had the personality assessment but I never saw it on this application. Good luck to everyone!

Would anyone mind sharing their stats (GPA, work exp., practicum etc)? Applying for next summer's cohort and I'm curious what the applicant pool might look like.

I applied the morning after the job posting was sent out. I passed my boards in March and I have 6 months experience in home health care dealing with patients from all over the lifespan spectrum, from newborns to 95 years old, so I'm hoping that experience will be to my benefit. Good luck everyone!

Hey guys! I'm from Boston, also graduating in December, I applied to the March cohort :) No RN experience but 5 years of critical care experience as an aid in Boston.. so hoping that helps! I'm so glad we all found each other - my application still says 'submission received' and it was making me nervous until I found this thread! Goodluck to all applicants!

I'm applying from Boston too!

Thats awesome!! Hopefully we both get it so we'll have someone from home!

I hope you already applied for your CA RN license because the process takes forever!
