Scripps Healthcare New Grad Residency Program 2011, has anyone received a interview invitation?

Specializes in Cardiac.

The wait is killing me!!!

Did anyone interview with Green hospital - medical acute unit? Please...

Hello everyone!!

I am new to allnurses, and am happy to meet what seems like a very nice group of people :)

I will be moving to San Diego this summer and want nothing more than to work at Scripps. Are you guys talking about a Spring program or does Scripps have only one new grad program a year (the fall one listed on the website)? Also, does anyone have contact information for someone who may be good to know on the inside when I am looking for work in a few months? I know- a million questions! Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Good luck to all of you who are interviewing!

perpetuallyhappyRN - we are referring to the spring program. applications were open around the 3rd week of February and the program is slated to begin around April 18th-- so it appears that they hold 2 new grad residency programs per year. I'll send you a PM with the talent manager's email - i don't think we're permitted to post contact info on allnurses :) good luck!

woodsider- sorry, didn't interview for green or medical acute... but if there's a question or concern maybe one of us will be able to help out?

also, i know there were a couple people that interviewed for Scripps who had also interviewed at Cedars for the 03/28 cohort... would you be able to PM me? i have a question! thanks so much :)

Anyone hear any info? I got a call asking me if I had to pick a unit (between the two I interviewed for) what would be my preference... it was implied that both my interviews went well!

sooperdooper - didn't hear anything as i only interviewed with one unit. but i agree - that can only mean fantastic news for you!! :)

Hi everyone,

I felt the interview went great and also agree that the other interviewees were outstanding. I can certainly see why it was so difficult to narrow us down. I am hoping and praying that we all get the positions of our dreams. I also feel very confident that they will open up more positions because we seemed like a great group.

Woodsider-I saw your post before my interview. Unfortunately, there was an extra digit in the number you gave me. I tried about four different potential numbers and I got the wrong number for each of em. :-/ I also cannot PM anyone yet. I am sorry that we were unable to get in touch. Perhaps you can PM your email address and we connect somehow. :)

Sooperdooper- Congratulations on getting a choice. I think you have great news coming your way. ;)

...back to patiently awaiting...

I hope you all have a great Sunday wherever you are,

Sooperdooper - Congratulations!!!!! Fantastic news!!!

Intime - I will PM you now.

Thanks.

Sooperdooper:

Which units/locations did you have interviews? Do you know how many they are hiring for those particular units?

Specializes in postpartum, newborn, geriatric/LTC.

I would also like to know where everyone interviewed, especially if you're offered a position. As painful as it may be, I want to know how quickly "my" position is disappearing ;)

I interviewed for SurgAcute 4East. I think it went well, but I'm stilllll waiting. My email is now terrifying and my phone is the most exciting thing in my life - I'm sure y'all understand.

I interviewed also surgical acute..scripps mercy??? Gl all..it's painful waiting:-))))))
