For those of you who interviewed and/or accepted jobs... How long after your phone interview were you able to set up a face-to-face?

Did anyone hear anything from HR about the GN Internship that starts in Fall 2016? I am curious how quickly they get back to the applicants after you applied.

I applied for CC internship July 5 and got contacted for phone interview on the 6th. Phone interview was scheduled on the 14th and got contacted for face to face the 21st. Interviewing this week.

For anyone who works at the med center in downtown Dallas, how are you liking it? How is the traffic and daily commute? Where are the best areas to live? I would be moving there on my own and I'm wondering what it would be like to live there for a young female...

Thank you for your response, nursinghopeful03! I hope the interview will go well for you! I also applied to CC internship on July 6th but haven't heard back from the HR. I am moving to Dallas mid of August which I specified in my resume. Have you already had your TX RN license when you applied? I am working on getting one now although I did not have any at the time of application. I passed the NCLEX and updated my resume recently, hopefully this will help trigger their attention to me :-)

Hi, no I don't have my TX license. Will be graduating soon and live out of state but will transfer my license if I get the job and decide to leave. Thanks for the well wishes and I hope they'll get back to you soon!

Also, what charting system does Baylor Dallas utilize? (I.e. Cerner or EPIC)

Nursinghopeful03, did you get a position at CC? I still did not hear anything about CC for which I applied back at the beginning of June. I had an interview for med/surg unit today and I applied for it only a week ago. I wonder if CC is still considering applications.
