Hi Im applying for Baylor Scott and White graduate nurse internship program for summer of 2016. Was wondering if anyone was too!!
Thats awesome @raidergirl95!! How was the interview process with Baylor?
Nerve racking and intimidating but great!! Nurses were very nice and nurse manager said she runs a type ship and expects me to get my CCRN after the first year. So I love that I'll be pushed to be a great ICU nurse. Everything I want. Super blessed

Congrats! How long after your face-to-face interview did they offer you the position?
Did anyone else notice the new job website for Baylor? Some of the jobs will take you to the old job search page. I applied for Waco, Temple, Round Rock, and the general one for DFW critical care.
I'm not sure if I like this new layout. I don't know how to view my application status anymore!
That's tough deza Is the psych position affiliated with Baylor? I've always read that Baylor pays less, but offers a great environment and benefits in exchange. I haven't gotten my physical offer just yet, just the verbal offer. HR has to negotiate my salary, I'm guessing because the position is technically for new grads and I already have my license, degree, and some experience. I'd say it just depends on what's more important to you. I was actually told by the nurse manager I interviewed with that she prefers those with no experience since "specialty" units are completely different than other areas in nursing so it would be easier to train those with less experience
Life is about experiences after all, so if you try something new and find out it's not for you, at least you won't have to wonder "what if"...
