Just wanted to start a thread for the S&W applicants for June 2011. Let's all keep each other posted and encouraged as we go through this nervewracking process!

If you could state where you are from and what your 3 choices were, that would be great. I'll go first!:lol2:

I'm from NJ and my top 3 choices (in order of preference) are: ICU, STC-2 (Adult Observation) and ER.

well, let's say it's over?!? had a hard time paying attention day after day, ugh. to long to sit still and not fall asleep. Wore scrubs all week long, like most of the people. Taking NCLEX at the end of the month, finally, just want it out of the way so I can study all the ICU stuff they're bombarding us with.

Finally moved in, probably gonna take NCLEX mid July on a Saturday.

I can say that after orientation I'm more excited than ever to start my nursing career at S&W!! Yes, it was a long week, but wow what an amazing opportunity they give all of us new graduates to fulfill our potential as nurses!

Chappell properties on Ira Young Drive. I live in Chappell Creek and love it. Right by the hospital and stuff.

I agree with Redraider (hi!!) I live in Chappell Hill. It's the older of the 3 (Chappell Hill, Chappell Creek and The Park at Chappell Hill are the 3 Chappell properties) but it's very nice. Quiet, clean and big. And a 2 minute drive to the hospital. Love it here.

Do ya'll know if S&W has an internship located in Round Rock or is it only in Temple? Does S&W hire new grads without them going through the internship? Just curious, thanks!
